Sadie started reading at the young age of two, with her mother getting the best of learning materials. Including Dr. Seuss book's and computer disks with children games that would assist helping with reading and pronouncing words. Even astonishing her grandparent's on being able to name the movie title's at such a small age, she was provided with every chance to learn reading and took it with curiosity. The reasons of why people read is for various of reasons, may it be for a better education, or even finding a way to escape reality for a bit, it could even help someone expand and grow their ambition. For one to be a good reader would only require an open and willing mind, even optimistic one. What make's it easiest for Sadie to read is finding some sort of connection or even something relatable to understand, and catch an interest. The hardest things that made things difficult for Sadie to read was simply words she didn't understand. Things she couldn't put herself to relate, it wouldn't be interesting enough to keep pursuing in finishing the book.
What Sadie looks in books are, simple. She looks for the romance with some good comedy into the mix, call her a crab for her zodiac sign making it as predictable as Karkat Vantas loves romcoms. Even the fanfictions on the internet, usually she prefers finding an alternate universe (au) on fictional characters She normally reads almost everyday right before bed, bad as that may be, Sadie's quite forgetful and distracted throughout the day. Not making time to just settle down and read. Generally Sadie enjoy's reading, as long as it captures what she's looking for. Sadie is definitely not a writer, though occasionally she'll roleplay (RP), with particular fandom's she's apart of with a friend. So yes, technically she is a reader. Sadie learned to write in kindergarten just everyone else, and she wasn't very fond of it, but it helped her word herself better with her speech problems not getting her point across the way she intended. People write for plenty of reasons, may it be getting your thoughts across or using your imagination and showing it to the world. They can spread their knowledge to help others learn more about the world, to help people educate themselves even, or even vent out some issues they can't necessarily say out loud to others, the possibilities are endless. For some one to write is not that difficult, but to write a book, or even write a poem, that takes time and a plan laid out first. To write well, all would require a creative mind and a well thought out plot. For Sadie, it's not easy finding a way to write without some sort of meaning, or connection to start writing. Usually finds poems or quotes to help relate to what she's feeling to help draw out more of what she means, with roleplaying, it would require a good connection with the character (god I am so sorry for whoever's reading this).. |
